Prologue prioritises delivering care that is considered, financially sensible and user friendly. We have designed our ovulation tracking service in a way that means you will always be clear on the next steps, will not have to travel far for tests and can reach out to us for extra help if you need it. Plus, it is at no cost to you.
As we pair with you to learn more about your fertility, an important part of our job is to always financially protect and advocate for you. An example of our commitment to this, is to offer three cycles of ovulation tracking without any charge.
Whilst there is no obligation to do any more than track your cycle, we have the ability to see you right through to the point where you are confidently caring for your baby, if you choose to continue into our fertility or obstetric

WORK WITH OUR FERTILITY NURSING TEAM
Prologue’s specially trained fertility nurses will educate you on the process of ovulation tracking, provide personalised guidance based on your current fertility circumstances and goals, as well as answer any and all the questions you may have. As a follow up to this phone call, you’ll receive a detailed email with all the information you need to get started. Once you have a referral from your GP, you can begin your ovulation tracking journey whenever is most convenient for you, keeping in mind we usually start within one week of your period.

PERSONALISED RESULTS WITH DHM PATHOLOGY
At Prologue, we partner with Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology (DHM) to ensure a seamless ovulation tracking experience for all our clients. With numerous locations across greater Sydney, you will not have to travel far to a collection centre that is most convenient to you. Furthermore, we prioritise using DHM as they are able to notify Prologue of your results on the same day as your blood test. This means our Fertility Nursing Team is able to provide you with timely and accurate guidance throughout your ovulation cycle.

OVULATION TRACKING OUTCOME
The benefits of ovulation tracking are numerous and women decide to track their cycle in this way for various reasons. Some wish to have a more detailed understanding of their cycle at a hormone level and at the conclusion of tracking, Prologue can provide data and personalised interpretation of it.
For many women, the purpose of ovulation tracking is to accurately time sex with the intent of natural conception. For these women, Prologue will arrange a pregnancy test at the appropriate time of each tracked cycle. For those that are pregnant, we can then support you in the early stages of pregnancy and help you arrange a dating scan.
For those that are struggling to conceive, ovulation tracking is often a great adjunct to the thorough and methodical approach we can take at Prologue to assess your entire fertility.
An important part of this assessment is sitting down with Dr Justin Tucker. He will be able to learn more about your story and offer you his support and expert opinion as together you review the results of your tests and your ovulation tracking cycles. From this point you and Justin will be perfectly positioned to assess any options you may have to increase the chances of conceiving.
